Project management Unit-BBBP/ SRCW, Assam in Association with UNICEF, Assam organized an awareness generation programme for sensitisation of DLCW and Student volunteers of Aspirational Districts through zoom meeting. To commemorate the 150^th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 2^nd October 2020, the main focus of the programme was to sensitise student volunteers on issues of Girl child and to make them aware about the rights and protection of girl child. About 238 participants from 13 districts were participated in the programme.

Three Beti Bachao Beti Padhao implementing Districts also organised various programmes in association with district administration #to celebrate Girl Child and Enable their education” on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Kamrup metro district organised series of online programmes, competition, Talk show among students, teachers, parents, supervisors and AWWs separately. Dhemaji district had organised quiz, essay, debate competitions among students of High school level whereas, Cachar district organized programmes with the children of KGVB. In all three districts logo and cup sticking logo of BBBP has been distributed among participants.
